In 1991, the Wilco Group of Companies was contracted to undertake the removal of 100,000 tonnes of granite from Castle Hill. The material was transported and subsequently utilised in the Port of Townsville reclamation area breakwall.
Wilco Logistics was responsible for the full scope of works, including drill and blast operations, shot firing, material extraction, haulage, and placement. This project remains a significant milestone in the company’s history, demonstrating its capability to successfully deliver large-scale marine and civil infrastructure works.

Our Management and operational staff successfully delivered works as part of the BMA Bechtel Alliance Phase 1 expansion of the Hay Point Coal Terminal.
The project comprised the haulage and placement of over 200,000 tonnes of armour rock for the construction of the rock wall at Hay Point, located in Mackay. The scale and precision required for this marine infrastructure project further demonstrated Wilco’s capability in delivering large-volume material handling and coastal protection works to exacting industry standards.

Our experienced professionals were contracted by Pacific Marine Group (PMG) to assist with the complete removal of Berths 6 and 7, including all superstructures above deck and piles below the berth structure.
Our workforce was further engaged to undertake dredging works to bring the remaining seabed to the required swing-basin depth. The scope of works also included the establishment and stability design for heavy mobile plant operating on flat-top barges, including two 50-tonne demolition excavators, one 70-tonne crawler crane, and one 150-tonne crawler crane.
In addition, our delivery team managed the unloading and transport of approximately 200,000 tonnes of dredge spoil to the designated reclamation area, demonstrating its expertise in complex marine demolition, dredging, and large-scale material handling operations

Wilco Logistics Pty Ltd was contracted by Hy-Tec / Adelaide Brighton at their Calcium Quarry to undertake crushing and screening operations for a range of a products.
The scope included the production of:
Our experienced professionals crushed in excess of 200,000 tonnes of material as part of these works, consistently meeting production targets and quality standards.
In addition, Wilco supplied dump trucks and excavators fitted with hydraulic hammers to assist with operations at the Cape Cleveland sand processing plant, further demonstrating its capability in quarrying support and bulk material processing.

Our Operational workforce was contracted by Gromac to crush and screen 200,000 tonnes of material into 2.3 Roadbase in remote, rural Hughenden.
The project was completed to specification and exceeded target expectations, showcasing Wilco’s ability to deliver high-quality results even in challenging, remote locations. Operations were carried out efficiently, safely, and with full compliance to site requirements

Our organisation was contracted by Boral at their Roseneath Quarry to crush and screen aggregates for the construction of a new fixed plant.
Originally contracted for 6–8 months, the project extended to over 12 months due to construction delays. During this time, our operational crews crushed and screened over 200,000 tonnes of material, consistently delivering high-quality results and demonstrating reliability, adaptability, and a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations
